UNC made it official today, Butch Davis will be the new head coach of the Tarheels.

 

Gabs Take- It’s on.  That’s all I know to say.  Butch Davis will get the Heels into the upper tier of the ACC within 2-3 years.  I’m sure they’ll show some improvement next season.  The timing couldn’t be better for the Heels.  FSU and Miami can no longer win by just showing up.  The door is wide open in the league, and UNC looks to be taking advantage of it.  Meanwhile, in Raleigh, the Wolfpack sits back and accepts Chuck Amato.
