Emmitt Smith, Champion Dancer
I admit, I have not watched one episode of this show. However, I was at the game last night, and they announced that Emmitt Smith had won on the Jumbo-Tron and everyone cheered. Everyone seems to love Emmitt, and I’m proud of him for adding another trophy to his mantle. Honestly, I’m not sure Emmitt was the best, but the last show came down to fan vote, and Emmitt won the popularity contest. Not surprising given his character.

Emmitt wasn’t the best dancer, but his victory does speak to his popularity. I watched the entire season. (I admit that I love that show!) I could tell from the very first show that Emmitt was going to charm America and take the prize.
Mario Lopez was hands down the best dancer (and extremely HOT by the way) but the Saved by the Bell star didn’t have a chance against the NFL’s beloved Emmitt.
Yeah, I was proud of Emmitt, he’s a class act, no matter the competition. I saw the next day on some of the sports shows (PTI, Around the Horn) they were dogging Mario for being sort of a poor loser….saying Emmitt was all class, but Mario said something to the effect of: “This was supposed to be a dancing contest, I guess the people don’t want world class dancing”. I think Emmitt won because he was obviously having fun.
