NFL Picks, Week 10, Late Games
Ok, now to finish up the weeks predictions. Sorry these picks are so spread around. To clear up confusion, the Chiefs/Dolphins game picks can be found here, and the 1 pm games are here.
Read on for the late games.
Â
Denver @ Oakland
Current Line- Denver -9.5
Current Points- 33 points
Weather-62 and mostly sunny
Gabs Take- Ok, you’re joking right? Terrible offense vs. great defense? This game is never in doubt, Oakland is backsliding every week.
Denver- 31
Oakland- 0
Yeah, that’s right, I said it, ZERO- Oakland has one of the worst offenses I have ever seen.
Fantasy Notables
Jake Plummer- 225 yards, 2 TD
Tatum Bell- 100 total yards, 1 TD
Mike Bell- 75 total yards, 1 TD
Rod Smith- 50 yards, 1 TD
Javon Walker- 120 yards, 1 TD
Honestly, it’s an impossible game to call from a fantasy perspective, Denver could score about any way they choose. That being said, the final score will probably be 5-2.

New Orleans @ Pittsburgh
Current Line- Pittsburgh -5.5
Current Points- 45.5 points
Weather-43 and showers
Gabs Take- What an intriguing game. Probably the toughest call of the week, other than the Giants and Bears. Despite all this intrigue, Drew Brees is hot as a pistol, and the Steelers are falling fast.
New Orleans- 27
Pittsburgh- 17
Fantasy Notables
Drew Brees- 300 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT
Duece McCallister- 80 combo yards, 1 TD
Reggie Bush- Get back to me when you do something in an NFL game
Joe Horn- 70 yards
Devery Henderson- 50 yards 1 TD
Marques Colston- 100 yards, 1 TD
Big Ben- 200 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT (somebody find some pine for this guy)
Fast Willie Parker- 100 combo yards, 1 TD
Hines Ward- 90 yards, 1 TD
Â
Dallas @ Arizona
Current Line- Dallas -6.5
Current Points- 43
Weather- 80 and sunny (it’s a dry heat)
Gabs Take- I’m still not down on the Cowboys. They’ll continue their trend of win/lose.
Dallas- 27
Arizona- 13
Fantasy Notables
Tony Romo- 225 yards 1 TD, 1 INT
Julius Jones- 80 combo yards
Marion Barber III- 100 combo yards, 2 TD (seriously, might be time to snatch this guy up)

Jason Witten- 60 yards
Matt Leinart- 200 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT
Edge James- 100 total yards
Anquan Boldin- 75 yards, 1 TD
Â
St. Louis @ Seattle
Current Line- Seattle -3.5
Current Points-44 points
Weather- 49 and showers
Gabs Take- Probably a lot of people are taking Seattle. Not me, I’m not sold on Wallace, and I don’t think Sean Alexander is going to be 100%.
St. Louis- 34
Seattle- 21
Fantasy Notables
Marc Bulger- 300 yards, 3 TD
Stephen Jackson- 100 combo yards, 1 TD
Torry Holt- 150 yards, 2 TD
Ike Bruce- 80 yards, 1 TD
Give a TD to the Rams D thanks to Seneca
Seneca Wallace- 200 pass yards, 50 rush, 1 TD, 2 INT, 1 FUM
Sean Alexander- 70 yards, 1 TD   Maurice Morris can have these stats, Alexander likely will not play. Either way, it only makes my pick easier.
Darryl Jackson- 65 yards
Deion Branch- 80 yards, 1 TD
Â
Chicago @ NY Giants
Current Line- Giants -1
Current Points-37.5 points
Weather- 61 rain
Gabs Take- I know the G-men are banged all up, but Rex Grossman vs. Eli Manning is what this game is. Eli is better, and has better weapons.Â
Chicago- 17
New York- 26

Rex Grossman- 200 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT
Thomas Jones- 100 yards, 1 TD

Amani Toomer- OUT
Jeremy Shockey- 50 yards, 1 TD
Â
Tampa Bay @ Carolina
Current Line- Carolina -9.5
Current Points- 37 points
Weather- 44 and clear
Gabs Take- I hate both these teams, I love Steve Smith. Smith also happens to be the only strong play this week.Â
 Tampa Bay- 10
Carolina 20
Fantasy Notables
Jake Delhomme- 250 yards, 2 TD
Steve Smith- 140 yards, 1 TD
Keyshawn Johnson- 50 yards, 1 TD
Â
Wow, going over all these games was much more work than I expected. I will have to come up with something new and more abbreviated for next week.

I agree with the Saints pick.
The Oakland Raiders are done. The Raiders have the worst offensive line in football, the defense isn’t too bad but the offense leaves them with a short field alot.
