Fantasy Sleeper Experiment, Week 11
VSÂ
Well, it’s going to be a stretch, but I’m going to field an entire fantasy football roster consisting of sleeper/tweener type players. There will be no Peyton Mannings or Larry Johnsons. The roster will include 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 “slash”, 1 TE, and 1 Defense. For the purposes of this exercise, no kicker will be needed. I will put my sleepers up against a team of studs (with no care of mathcups) and see how things turn out. We’ll use a very basic scoring system- This is all really just for kicks, I do think some of the tweeners are decent starts.
TD- 6 points
10 rush/rec yard - 1 point
20 pass yards - 1 point
Subtract 2 points for any turnover
Defense: 10 points for shutout- Subtract 2 points for every 6 points allowed thereafter- 1 point per sack, 2 points for any turnover, 6 points for a TD-
1 commentNFL Hits & Misses- Week 10
Well, this was my first week publicly sharing what I thought was my “knowledge”. Somehow, my fantasy team does well, even though I obviously don’t have a crystal ball.

1 commentNFL Picks, Week 10, Late Games
Ok, now to finish up the weeks predictions. Sorry these picks are so spread around. To clear up confusion, the Chiefs/Dolphins game picks can be found here, and the 1 pm games are here.
Read on for the late games.
1 commentNFL Picks, Week 10, 1 pm games
Yeah, I didn’t forget. I promised weekly picks on every NFL game. Well, for the sake of time, (this has been a busy weekend) I’m gonna cut down on the picks just a bit, but I’m still going to include all of the particulars from every NFL game.
Here are the early games, with the exception of the already previewed Chiefs @ Miami.
3 commentsLeftwich Season In Doubt
Â
Jacksonville quarterback Byron Leftwich will be getting a second opinion Monday on his injured ankle. Jaguars team doctors told him he wouldn’t be able to play again this season.
Gabs Take: Sounds like good news for a guy I’m not too high on; David Garrard. I know everyone is jumping on Garrard’s bandwagon, but there is no statistic for the leadership Leftwich provides. If he is out for the year this will be a major blow for Jacksonville.
